Another one of our magical summer themes was Hawaii. Our fabulous teachers created creative Hawaii backdrops and brought in props related to our Pacific Ocean state. They helped the children to make lei flower necklaces out of construction paper and hula skirts out of bags! The children had pineapple and coconut for snack and learned to dance the hula. By the end of our theme, all the children were waving "Aloha" and didn't want to leave Hawaii!
