8:00 am – 9:10 am
Arrival, Breakfast & Creative Play
Health check, drop off, and handwashing. Breakfast offered upon request. Free play: library/puzzles/blocks/age-appropriate toys. Social interaction and sharing. Developing independence and strengthening cognitive and muscle development.
9:10 – 9:30 AM
Music and Movement
Develop musical expression, rhythm and listening. Develop spatial and interpersonal awareness through dancing and movement. Use instruments and props. Understand and appreciate music.
9:30 - 9:45 AM
Circle Time
Cognitive and language development is enhanced through finger plays and clapping games, letter recognition, concepts of colors, numbers, shapes and content-area topics, learning rules of social interaction, including turn-taking and listening.
9:45 - 10:00 AM
Arts & Crafts
Art/sensory activities that allow creativity and expression and connect with theme or concept of week/month. Also help with cognitive, sensory and small-muscle development.
10:00-10:10 AM
Diapering/Toileting. Cleanup/Wash up
Learn good health habits and develop independence in personal hygiene.
10:10 - 10:40 AM
Free and guided play
Divided by age/developmental level. Children participate in a variety of activities and work with toys and materials to develop social-emotional, fine motor, gross motor and cognitive skills.
10:40 - 11:00 AM
Clean up / Wash up, Morning Snack,
Wash hands before a nutritious snack is served. Table manners, turn taking, cleaning up together. Following directions, waiting, listening skills. Also learning to dress — putting on hat & mittens, zipping jacket, etc. Prepare for Outdoor Play (weather permitting)
11:00 - 11:55 AM
Outdoor Play
Children have opportunities for gross-motor and large-muscle development, as well as social skills. When the weather is too cold or wet to go outside, we extend free and guided play and do movement and exercise!
11:55 AM - 12:45 PM
Wash up/Prepare for Lunch, Lunch
Develop table manners, learn good nutrition, learn to take turns and clean up after oneself.
12:45 – 2:45 pm
Nap/Rest Time
Children rest or nap after busy morning activities.
Diapering/Toileting occurs at the start of Nap/Rest Time
2:45 - 3:00 pm
Diapering/Toileting. Cleanup/Wash up

3:00 PM – 3:30
Snack Time
Wash hands before a nutritious snack is served. Table manners, turn taking, cleaning up together. Following directions, waiting, listening skills.
3:30 PM – 5 PM
Arts & Crafts, Free & GUided Play
Guided and Independent Play. Children participate in creative play before dismissal. Music and Movement and Outdoor Play (weather permitting) may be incorporated.
